Create a One-off Invoice

Times arise when you may need to create a one-off invoice whether it is for a last minute sponsorship or another fee of some sort. Invoice Management allows you create these types of Invoices to have at your disposal to make this task quick and easy.Invoice TypesThe first step is to add an Invoice Type that you would like to have as a preset of sorts. Click “Add Invoice Type” on the Invoice Types menu to get started. You can give it a name, price, & description. If you are using the accounting exports you can specify which account the invoice should be allocated in the Account Code field.The name field is what is displayed as the line item on the invoice. Create an Invoice To create an invoice, navigate to the Create Invoice menu and select whether it will be sent to an individual or an organization.  From there you can filter the list of results of options of who to send the invoice to.

 

Next select the invoice type that you would like to send from the list. You can adjust the quantity of the line items accordingly as well as the subject, message, of the email as well as what email it should be sent to and from.You may want to track these invoices as well as update their status if they are paid via check or other method outside of AMO. To do so, navigate to the Manage invoices menu and use the available fields to filter the results or simply click “Search” to display all of the one-off invoices in AMO.

 

To make adjustments, click “Update” on the invoice you would are going to view or make adjustments to. Here you can view the PDF invoice or update the information and recreate the invoice to reflect the updated information. To do so, click “Delete PDF Invoice” and then click “Create PDF Invoice” and the invoice will be updated.

Finally, click “Send Invoice” and the recipient will receive an email with the invoice attached.
